What is a Community Group?
At Immanuel we would define a Community group as a great place to connect with others in the church and grow in your walk with God. It is within these small communities (usually 4-12 people) that men and women:
- STUDY God’s Word
- CARE for one another
- PRAY
- WORK together to further the vision of Immanuel Church.
Our groups meet in homes throughout the city. All groups are led by trained leaders who attend Immanuel and who receive continued oversight and support from pastoral staff. Groups generally meet weekly and many groups also participate in community service projects (ways of helping in the church and community). It is within these small communities that men and women can ask their questions, build personal relationships, and practice applying the gospel to their lives.
Our hope and prayer is that everyone at Immanuel would be part of a Community Group!
